Zack Wheeler wasn’t his most dominant self, but he was still good as he went seven innings and gave up three runs against a formidable Dodgers offense in a 7-3 win for the Mets. The Dodgers were not sharp in the field, and thanks in part to that—and their own success at the plate—the Mets racked up fourteen hits.

Amed Rosario went 3-for-5 as he continued his recent string of success, Wilmer Flores had a couple of hits and a couple of runs batted in, and Kevin Plawecki, Michael Conforto, Jeff McNeil, and Brandon Nimmo all had two hits apiece.

Seth Lugo threw a couple of scoreless innings to finish off the victory.

Full recap to follow.
