The New York Mets will hold their annual Winter Blood Drive on Wednesday, January 9 from 11:00am to 6:00pm in the Foxwoods Club at Citi Field. Fans who donate blood will receive a voucher redeemable for two tickets to select Mets 2019 home games (excluding Opening Day). Donors must be at least 17 years old (16 with parental permission), weight at least 110 pounds, and be in good health.

Mr. Met will be on hand from 1:00pm to 2:00pm to greet fans who are donating blood. In addition, Mets alumni Ed Kranepool and Art Shamsky will be at Citi Field and will visit fans in the afternoon. Fans who are driving to Citi Field may park in Lot G off 126th Street and enter through the Hodges VIP entrance.

Your donation could save somebody’s life. According to the New York Blood Center, close to 2,000 donations are needed each day in the New York/New Jersey community for patients who require a lifesaving blood and/or platelet transfusion. For more FAQ and information on donating, visit the New York Blood Center’s website.
