Does The Mets Acquisition of J.D. Davis Mean They're Done?

Earlier on in the offseason, there were multiple rumors surrounding the Mets and CF AJ Pollock and UTIL Marwin Gonzalez. However, the Mets recently dealt for 25-year-old utility man JD Davis from Houston for minor prospects. Davis is capable of playing 1st base, 3rd base, and the outfield and looks like yet another player that could be competing for an outfield spot, after acquiring Keon Broxton a few days ago as well. The Mets are likely hoping that Davis can put his hitting skills together in the majors, as he has a career .335 BA with 22 hrs and 99 RBIs across two seasons in AAA, with a very strong .589 SLG and .400 OBP. He hasn’t had success in his cup of tea in the Majors, with a .194 BA with 5 home runs and 12 RBIs in 181 ABs. It truly looks as though the Mets are done spending money, at least on hitters. It’s still possible that they are continuing to look for a lefty specialist out of the bullpen, maybe even another starter, but it’s fairly certain now that guys like Pollock, Gonzalez and certainly Bryce Harper (for those who continue to advocate for the Mets to sign the young slugger) are not in the Mets plans, and they’re hoping that trading for guys like Broxton and Davis in particular work out for them. What do you think? Are the Mets done spending this offseason? Or are they still in the market for one or two more players?
