Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse, a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send 30 polls to plugged in fans from each team. Mets fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.
With the Mets’ season in the books and the team searching for a new manager, this week’s FanPulse poll focused exclusively on national questions. And with relatively few teams in the playoffs, fans were asked which team they most wanted to see lose in the National League and American League.
On the NL side, the now-departed Dodgers came in with the highest total, almost earning a majority of the votes. Mets fans were presumably rooting against the Braves and Nationals the hardest, but neither of those teams garnered as much ire on the national level.

And in the American League, it comes as absolutely no surprise that the Yankees had the highest percentage of fans rooting against them, easily surpassing a majority. Even the second-place Astros got far, far less of the votes here, and barely anyone was rooting against the Rays or the Twins.
