New York Beer Fest is set to return to Citi Field on Saturday, May 4, 2019. The Mets announced the event in a press release, noting that the event includes unlimited tastings from dozens of craft breweries with games and live entertainment inside the ballpark. Last year’s event, which was the first, took place in July.
Tickets will run you $50 for general admission, while $80 VIP tickets give you entry for additional specialty pours and for an extra hour plus access to the warning track and dugouts.
There are two sessions for the event:
- Session 1: VIP 12 PM to 4 PM, GA 1 PM to 4 PM
- Session 2: VIP 6 PM to 10 PM, GA 7 PM to 10 PM
The Mets have more info and links to buy tickets for the beer festival on their website. And the beer festival has its own site, which already lists a bunch of breweries, including a bunch of New York City breweries like Gun Hill, Bronx, Brooklyn, Flagship, Bride and Tunnel, LIC Beer Project, Five Boroughs, Sixpoint, and brewed-beyond-right-field Mikkeller, among others.
