The New York Mets will travel to Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium in Jupiter, Florida for the second time in three days, this time to take on the St. Louis Cardinals. The Mets have defeated the Cardinals three times this spring, most recently beating them 9-1 in Port St. Lucie on Sunday.
Travis d’Arnaud will bat sixth and make his first Grapefruit League start as catcher, which represents a big hurdle that he has had to clear as he recovers from Tommy John surgery. This will also be the first spring training game the team have played this year without the DH, making Zack Wheeler the first Mets pitcher to record an at-bat this spring.
