The Mets look to bounce back after getting roughed up against the Nationals yesterday. They travel to Jupiter today to take on the Marlins behind Jason Vargas, who has had a solid spring so far with a 1.08 ERA through his three starts so far. Also available to pitch today are Robert Gsellman, Seth Lugo, Tim Peterson, and Daniel Zamora.
Behind Vargas will be most of the everyday lineup, with the only exceptions maybe being Travis d’Arnaud behind the plate and J.D. Davis at third. Jeff McNeil moves back to left field, and Pete Alonso moves up to second in the order as the Mets continue to experiment this spring.
