Steven Matz will look to rebound from a disastrous start.

MLB: Spring Training-Washington Nationals at New York Mets Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

After a brief, two-day hiatus following a rain out and a scheduled day off, the New York Mets will return to action and enter the home stretch of their Grapefruit League schedule as they take on the Miami Marlins in Port St. Lucie at 1:10pm.

Steven Matz will return to the mound after getting beat up in his last start against the Washington Nationals. Pete Alonso will bat second in the order — something that Mickey Callaway has been experimenting with a lot recently — while Jeff McNeil will get the start in left field.
