MLB: Spring Training-Washington Nationals at New York Mets Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

It’s been a long, cold, lonely winter, but here comes the sun Mets! Yes, it is Opening Day, and the New York Mets and Washington Nationals are set to face off in their first of 19 games this season. Jacob deGrom and Max Scherzer are starting the season off with a pitching duel that has the potential to be really special.

How to Watch

SNY will broadcast the game from Nationals Park at 1:05pm Eastern. Gary Cohen, Ron Darling, and Keith Hernandez are returning for their 14th season as a broadcast team. Those in the DC metro area can catch the game on MASN, and out of market fans can see all the action on MLB.tv.

How to Listen

Howie Rosie and Wayne Randazzo, who is moving up from the pre- and post-game shows, will be calling the game for the Mets’ new radio home, WCBS. Rose has been one of the voices of the Mets since 1995, and WCBS will be his third stop on the radio dial with the club, after WFAN and WOR.

As for the second game of the season, come join your Amazin’ Avenue brethren at our annual AARGH at Mikkeler NYC at Citi Field on Saturday. More information can be found here.
