Open Thread: Mets vs. Nationals, spring training, 3/7/19

Following yesterday’s scheduled off-day, the New York Mets will travel to FITTEAM Ballpark of the Palm Beaches to take on their division rivals, the Washington Nationals, for the first time this spring.

Today’s game will feature a marquee pitching matchup between Mets’ ace Jacob deGrom and the Nationals’ Stephen Strasburg. Brandon Nimmo will make his first start in the outfield since recovering from a stomach virus.
