Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse, a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send 30 polls to plugged in fans from each team. Mets fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.
In the latest FanPulse poll results, Mets fans are still pretty confident in the direction of the team, even if that confidence has slipped a bit over the first two weeks of the season. 90 percent of respondents said they’re confident, which is pretty good given the team’s 7-4 start that hasn’t included many easy wins.
Mickey Callaway’s approval among Mets fans has dropped significantly, having been at 75 percent in our first poll, 60 percent in the second, and now dropped to 38 percent. That means 62 percent of Mets fans polled said they do not approve of Callaway’s performance.
The nationwide question on this poll asked about bat flips, and the results were unsurprising. You’ll have to excuse this photo of Bryce Harper being happy on this site.
