The Mets have placed Justin Wilson back on the injured list with the same elbow soreness that sidelined him in late April, and the team has called up Eric Hanhold to take his place on the roster.
Wilson has a 4.82 ERA in 9.1 innings with the Mets so far this year. Hanhold did not look fantastic in his three appearances for the Mets this year and has not fared much better in his time in Syracuse.
In addition to those moves, Jeurys Familia is back in New York with the team and expects to be activated from the IL tomorrow. He has missed time with a Bennett lesion in his shoulder (bone spur). Familia returned to the Mets this offseason on a three-year, $30 million contract, but he has looked not his typical sense so far this season, as he has a 6.28 ERA and 5.98 FIP in 14.1 innings of work thus far.
