Triple-A: Syracuse Mets (21-15)

SYRACUSE 2, COLUMBUS 0 (BOX)

Corey Oswalt and Adam Plutko traded zeroes early on, but Dilson Herrera put an end to that with a solo home run on a meatball right down Broadway. Syracuse added one more run, a Carlos Gomez RBI single in the ninth, while Oswalt, Tim Peterson, and Arquimedes Caminero combined to shut out the Clippers.

Double-A: Binghamton Rumble Ponies (19-12)

POSTPONED (INCLEMENT WEATHER)

Advanced-A: St. Lucie Mets (18-16)

NO GAME (SCHEDULE)

Low-A: Columbia Fireflies (11-24)

ROME 11, COLUMBIA 0 (BOX)

At least Columbia managed not to get no-hit? There aren’t a lot of positives to take out of this one. Simeon Woods Richardson’s straight fastball continues to be punished. The bullpen was leaky. The offense continued looking anemic. Not good.
