Following Pete Alonso’s tying home run in the bottom of the 8th inning, the Mets won it in walk off fashion in the 9th thanks to an Amed Rosario infield single with two outs in the inning. Jacob deGrom will take the mound tonight against Max Scherzer in game three of the four game set.
