Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse, a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send 30 polls to plugged in fans from each team. Mets fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.

After the percentage of Mets fans who were confident in the direction of the team and approved of Mickey Callaway’s performance as manager hit a new low in last week’s edition of FanPulse, both ratings improved significantly in this week’s poll.

Among respondents, 41 percent said they were confident in the direction of the team this week, up from just 13 percent last week, and 35 percent said they approved of Callaway’s performance, up from 10 percent. The Mets’ 6-1 homestand that ended on Sunday certainly figures to have played a role in the uptick in both of those ratings.

On the national level, fans were asked whether or not international players should be included in Major League Baseball’s amateur draft, and the vast majority said yes.
