Triple-A - Syracuse Mets (34-35)

NO GAME (SCHEDULE)

Double-A - Binghamton Rumble Ponies (33-29)

NO GAME (SCHEDULE)

Advanced-A - St. Lucie Mets (33-34)

ST. LUCIE 6, LAKELAND 1 (BOX)

It was a strong all around effort for St. Lucie in a 6-1 win over Lakeland. Kyle Wilson set the tone with a great start, allowing only an unearned run over six innings of work (though that run did score on his own error). Wilson struck out four and allowed only four hits and a walk. The offense did more than enough to cover up that mistake, led by Edgardo Fermin; the second baseman had a two-run double in St. Lucies’ five run fifth, and added another RBI on an infield single in the sixth. Jeremy Vasquez, Jeremy Vasquez, and Nick Meyer also had two hits apiece in the win.

Low-A - Columbia Fireflies (24-42)

NO GAME (ALL STAR BREAK)

SS-A - Brooklyn Cyclones (3-1)

BROOKLYN 4, ABERDEEN 1 (BOX)

Brooklyn jumped out to an early lead and didn’t look back in a 4-1 win. Joe Genord struck the first blow with a first inning sacrifice fly, driving in Ranfy Adon, who singled and stole base earlier in the inning. A throwing error in the third led to another run for the Cyclones, and Luke Ritter followed with a two-run home run to stretch the lead to four. Garrison Bryant, who took over after Nathan Jones’ two inning start, allowed the only Aberdeen run in the sixth as part of his 4.2 inning, seven strikeout performance.
