Meet the Mets

The Mets battled with the Giants for ten innings on Tuesday night and came out on the losing end as the bullpen fell flat once again. Noah Syndergaard pitched into the 7th inning but was charged with three runs after Seth Lugo allowed one of his baserunners to score. The Mets three runs on the night came from a Pete Alonso solo home run and a Wilson Ramos two-run shot. Robert Gsellman was hit hard in the 10th inning, getting charged with 5 runs and was the pitcher of record on the long side.
