Triple-A: Syracuse Mets (30-31)

SCRANTON/WILKES-BARRE 3, SYRACUSE 1 (BOX)

Syracuse scored first, plating a run on a Travis Taijeron double, but that would end up being all they would manage. RailRiders starter Brody Koerner scattered just six hits over seven innings, working around the men on base. Walker Lockett didn’t have a bad start by any means, allowing three runs over seven innings himself, but once the RailRiders scored that second run in the seventh inning to take the lead, that was it.

Double-A: Binghamton Rumble Ponies (32-24)

BINGHAMTON 1, HARTFORD 0 (BOX)

Anthony Kay hit a rough patch in his last two starts, but the left-hander regained form last night in Connecticut. Though he only threw five-plus innings, the southpaw scattered just three hits while walking two and striking out nine, throwing 62 of his 94 pitches for strikes. Adonis Uceta, Ryley Gilliam, and Matt Blackham followed with shutdown performances of their own, preserving the one run lead scored in the fourth on a Yard Goat fielding error.

ROSTER ALERT: Binghamton Rumble Ponies placed CF Kevin Kaczmarski on the 7-day injured list retroactive to June 6, 2019.

Advanced-A: St. Lucie Mets (30-30)
