Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse, a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send 30 polls to plugged in fans from each team. Mets fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.
In the latest edition of FanPulse polling, Mets fans didn’t express much more confidence in the direction of the team or approval of Mickey Callaway’s job performance than they had in weeks past. And this time around, the percentage was the same, with seven percent of respondents saying they were confident in the direction of the team or that they approved of Callaway’s work.
With the trade deadline coming up fairly soon, fans of each team were asked whether they thought their team should do: buy, sell, or stand pat. Unsurprisingly, the vast majority of Mets fans said that the team should sell. Even with the recent four-game winning streak, which was snapped in a 16-inning loss in San Francisco last night, the team is 44-52, which is the third-worst record in the National League. They’re six games back of the second wild card spot, but there are eight teams ahead of them for that spot.
