Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse, a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send 30 polls to plugged in fans from each team. Mets fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.
With the Mets having lost every game they played last week, most of them in excruciating fashion, Mets fans were feeling unsurprisingly bleak about the team’s future in this week’s FanPulse poll. That dreadful streak ended when they finally won on Sunday night against the Braves, but the damage was done—and it certainly didn’t help that the Mickey Callaway and Jason Vargas incident was still a relatively fresh memory.
Asked whether or not they were confident in the direction of the team, just 8 percent of fans said yes. And Mickey Callaway’s job approval rating doubled—all the way from 3 percent to 6 percent.

On the national level, fans were asked whether or not every team deserved to have at least one player on an All-Star roster, and the majority of respondents said yes.
