Overall, the positive portion of these results is still low, but it’s much higher than last week.

Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse, a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send 30 polls to plugged in fans from each team. Mets fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.

With the Mets having won their last five games in a row, traded away a reasonable package for Marcus Stroman, and jettisoned Jason Vargas to the Phillies, Mets fans expressed higher levels of confidence in the team in this week’s FanPulse poll than they have at any time over the past couple of months. Specifically, 27% of respondents in the poll—which you can still sign up to join—said they were confident in the direction of the team. That’s up from 5% last week and the first double-digit rate since five weeks ago.

Even manager Mickey Callaway broke into double digits in this week’s poll, as 17% of respondents said they approved of his job performance. That’s up from 7% last week, and Callaway had been in the single digits for the four weeks preceding last week, too.
