Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse, a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send 30 polls to plugged in fans from each team. Mets fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.
Coming off their loss in the series finale to the Nationals last Sunday and a six-game road trip that saw the Mets go 3-3, the team’s fans who participated in this week’s FanPulse poll expressed less confidence in the direction of the team than they did last week—with 77 percent saying they were confident, as opposed to last week’s mark of 82 percent. Given the fact that the Mets have now won five games in a row, it won’t be surprising to see that number go back up, especially if the Mets have a good series against the Braves this weekend.
Manager Mickey Callaway saw his 46 percent approval from last week, which had been his highest mark in a long time, drop back down to 30 percent.

On the national level, fans of all thirty teams were asked whether the 2019 juiced baseball is good or bad for the game, and an overwhelming majority said bad.
