Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse, a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send 30 polls to plugged in fans from each team. Mets fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.
This week’s edition of FanPulse polling went out at the beginning of the week, and it’s fair to say the team is in a different place now than they were just seventy-two hours ago. But given that context, Mets fans who took part in the poll were feeling even less confident in the team than they had been last week, with just 30 percent expressing confidence. That number will likely be much higher next week, barring a catastrophic series against the Dodgers this weekend.

Similarly, Mickey Callaway’s approval rating dropped, this time all the way down to 4 percent. Given some of the curious moves he had made over the weekend, that’s understandable, and even when the team has been playing really well, his approval rating hasn’t been high.
On the national level, fans were asked who they thought would win the AL and NL Central, and they went with the Twins and Cardinals, respectively.
