Amazin’ Avenue Audio (The Show), Episode 45: The Sandy Man Can

This week, we reflect on the end of the season and the beginning of the Alderson Era, Mach II.

Welcome to Amazin’ Avenue Audio (The Show), the new/old favorite from Amazin’ Avenue editors Chris McShane and Brian Salvatore.

The 2020 season is over, and the Mets managed to end it in the most depressing way possible, with injuries, blowouts, a poor deGrom start, and missing out on the largest pool of playoff teams in history. But not all hope is lost; Steven Cohen has hired Sandy Alderson to run the Mets when/if the sale goes through.

Plus, reflections on chatting with David Wright and the “bubble” of the LCses and World Series.

Chris’s Music Pick:

Frankie and the Witch Fingers - Monsters Eating People Eating Monsters...

Brian’s Music Pick:

Fujiya & Miyagi - Transparent Things
