Amazin’ Avenue Audio (The Show), Episode 48: McCann’s Our Man

The Mets have a new catcher, an old lefty, a new general manager, and an owner not afraid to show his face to the fans.

Welcome to Amazin’ Avenue Audio (The Show), the new/old favorite from Amazin’ Avenue editors Chris McShane and Brian Salvatore.

This week, Brian and Chris discuss the Mets’ new catcher, James McCann and discuss why the Mets may have chosen him over J.T. Realmuto. The lack of a true backup catcher is also discussed, as is the return of Jerry Blevins, an old Amazin’ Avenue favorite.

We then turn our attention to new general manager Jared Porter, formerly of the Diamondbacks, Cubs, and Red Sox, as well as highlighting the stark difference in fan interaction between Steve Cohen and the Wilpons.

Chris’s Music Picks:

Osees - Levitation Sessions (Live)

Brian’s Music Pick:

John Fahey - The New Possibility
