Open thread: Jeff McNeil plays MLB: The Show, 4/12/20

Jeff McNeil will be playing his first few games of Major League Baseball’s online league of actual major league players taking part in a season of MLB: The Show. The Mets tweeted that McNeil will be broadcasting those games on his Twitch. McNeil added some specifics himself, saying that he’s playing a warm-up game against Pete Alonso—which he’ll also stream—at 7:30 PM EDT this evening. He’ll play four games in the online league once that gets underway.

These are very strange times, but if you feel like tuning in for some or all of McNeil’s evening of playing the current gold standard baseball video game, by all means, take part in the comment section here.
