Mets Mind Boggler: Every pitcher to record a save since 2010

I don’t know about you, but I’ve been spending much of my quarantine time thinking about some obscure Mets (look, these are dark times for all of us). More specifically, I’ve been thinking about some Mets relievers of the last decade (okay, these are really dark times), and a discussion of some of these guys at AAHQ led me to some Mets leaderboards, which gave our overlord Chris McShane the idea to rehash our Mets Mind Boggler feature.

For a long time, Sporcle quizzes were a weekly Amazin’ Avenue feature. Unfortunately, Matt Varvaro left the site in 2018, and nobody picked up the responsibility. However, we are in a quarantine right now, and what better way to kill time during quarantine than a little obscure Mets trivia?

So for this Mind Boggler, we’re asking you to name all 39 Mets pitchers to record a save since 2010. The Mets have had quite a lot of forgettable relievers in the last decade; how strong is your memory of these guys? Test it here:

You’ll have ten minutes for this quiz. I’m not going to lie—this one is super hard. If you get all 39 without cheating, I don’t even know what to tell you. I will be genuinely fearful of your obscure Mets reliever knowledge. I will legitimately make a donation to a charity of your choice if you can prove you got them all correct.
