Mets Mind Boggler: Every player to play for the 2006 Mets

Over the years, our mind boggler series has run on and off, but thanks to David Capobianco’s great idea for one yesterday—every pitcher to record a save for the Mets in the 2010s—we’re going to try to keep these going because they’re fun, challenging, and bring back plenty of Mets memories.

This installment is straightforward, too: Name every player who played for the Mets during the 2006 season. Most folks will probably get a sizable chunk of this list right quickly, but there are some names that even the most devoted fan might have forgotten from that team that won the National League East with a 97-65 record.
