From Complex To Queens, Episode 57: From Complex To Queens Goes International

We’re not sure what the minor league landscape is going to look like when things return to some semblance of normal, but we can look to other countries as a guide.

Welcome to From Complex to Queens, the podcast from Amazin’ Avenue focusing on the Mets’ minor league system.

Steve, Lukas, Ken, and Thomas discuss what super powers they’d want for members of a baseball team in Promote, Extend, Trade.

After, the team looks at how the coronavirus will be impacting the minor leagues once play begins, be it sometime in 2020 or afterwards. The precautions needed to ensure everyone stays safe will put pressures on teams that may not be able to handle them.

Next, Steve interviews Rob, who runs cpblstats.com, Dan, who runs mykbo.com. What lessons can we learn from Taiwan and South Korea in regards to expediting the return of baseball? What are the teams of the CPBL and KBO? Who are some of the players we should be aware of? Who should we, as Mets fans, root for?
