Pending potential thunderstorms in the New York area, the Mets will open their season today, Thursday July 24, at 4:10 PM EDT at Citi Field versus the Atlanta Braves, with right-handed pitcher Jacob deGrom facing right-handed pitcher Mike Soroka.
The game will air simultaneously on SNY and ESPN with a local Atlanta broadcast available on FSSO. Subscribers who are not in local blackout zones can also stream the game on MLB.tv. SNY begins pregame coverage at 3:00 PM EDT and ESPN’s 3 PM airing of Baseball Tonight will also include pregame material.
The Mets’ local radio broadcast will be aired on WCBS 880 and 92.7 WQBU with pregame and postgame coverage immediately before and after. The Braves’ local broadcast can be found on 680 AM and 93.7 FM in the Atlanta area.
