Mets fans can rest easy now, as the Mets announced that they hired Buck Showalter to be their next manager, which is the best and right choice. Since Terry Collins was the last established Mets manager, it’s been a rolller coaster of a ride for the franchise. Now the franchise seems to be heading in the right direction, especially with Showalter leading the team. Showalter is what the Mets need and they will now be in contention come October. Finally!
