Amazin’ Avenue Audio (The Show), Episode 55: Disregard Approximately Half of This Episode

New, 1 comment

The curse of recording time strikes again.

Welcome to Amazin’ Avenue Audio (The Show), the new/old favorite from Amazin’ Avenue editors Chris McShane and Brian Salvatore.

As happens with alarming frequency, Chris and Brian recorded this episode less than an hour before the Mets and Francisco Lindor agreed to the 10 year, $341 million extension. So, with that said, please ignore about half of their gripes expressed therein.

Aside from the Lindor stuff instantly rendered moot, Brian and Chris discuss their overall impressions for the season, highlight some players they’re excited about, and, again, just couldn’t have timed this worse with Lindor.

Also, Brian forgets that the Mets were in the playoffs in 1999 and 2000. Blame the COVID-19.

Chris’s Music Pick:

Fu Manchu - California Crossing

Brian’s Music Pick:

Toadies - Hell Below/Stars Above
