Welcome to Amazin’ Avenue in Conversation, a podcast from Amazin’ Avenue where we invite interesting people on the show to talk about themselves, the Mets, and more.

On Monday, Amazin’ Avenue’s resident film expert, Grace Carbone, was joined by Mets’ Director of Baseball Analytics Ben Zauzmer. Ben, in addition to his job with the Mets, is known for his Oscars predictions. His Twitter account, @BensOscarMath is dedicated to the predictions, and he wrote a book about the topic, Oscarmetrics: The Math Behind the Biggest Night in Hollywood. Ben and Grace discuss some of their favorite Oscars, the weird choice behind the order of awards at this year’s Academy Awards, and a little bit of how Ben puts together his models.

You can listen or subscribe to all of our wonderful Amazin’ Avenue Audio podcasts through Apple Podcasts, where we encourage you to leave a review if you enjoy the show. It really helps! And you can find us on the Stitcher app, Spotify, or listen wherever you get podcasts.
