Welcome to Amazin’ Avenue in Conversation, a podcast from Amazin’ Avenue where we invite interesting people on the show to talk about themselves, the Mets, and more.

Chris Forsyth is a guitarist and songwriter who releases music as a solo artist and also as the leader of the Solar Motel Band. He compares his music to that of the late, great John Fahey, but instead of synthesizing the blues down to its most prime elements, Chris does that with rock and roll. Chris’s songs find room for improvisation without sacrificing melody. He’s also a huge Mets fan, and we talk about both of those parts of his life on today’s episode.

You can follow Chris on Twitter (@thechrisforsyth), and check out his Bandcamp page to become better acquainted with his music.

You can listen or subscribe to all of our wonderful Amazin’ Avenue Audio podcasts through Apple Podcasts, where we encourage you to leave a review if you enjoy the show. It really helps! And you can find us on the Stitcher app, Spotify, or listen wherever you get podcasts.

Check out AmazinAvenue.com for all your Mets needs, and make sure to follow the site on Twitter (@AmazinAvenue), as well as hosts Chris McShane (@ChrisMcShane) and Brian Salvatore (@BrianNeedsaNap).
