The game between the Mets and the Cardinals at Busch Stadium, scheduled for tonight at 7:45pm, has be delayed due to rain. The game will be made up tomorrow afternoon at 5:15pm ET as part of a single-admission doubleheader. Marcus Stroman will start game one, while game two’s starter has not yet been announced, though recent call-up Jordan Yamamoto is a possibility.

Tonight’s game was supposed to be started by Jacob deGrom, but inflammation in his right lat led to him being scratched this afternoon. Miguel Castro was scheduled to start tonight’s game, in part because it was unclear when Yamamoto would arrive from Triple-A Syracuse.

Postponements have became somewhat commonplace for the Mets so far in this young season, having missed the first three games due to a COVID-19 outbreak in Washington, and have lost games to both rain and snow since. This will be the Mets third doubleheader in the first five weeks of the season.
