BINGHAMTON 2, READING 0 (BOX)
A matchup between two of the worst teams in minor league baseball became must see TV in this one, as Josh Walker and Andrew Mitchell combined to no-hit the Reading Fighting Phils. Walker got the start and struck out four over six innings, working around a walk and an error, and Mitchell came in for to retire the final nine batters in order. Binghamton has a no-hitter in fairly recent history (2019), but this sort of performance from a team that has struggled as badly as they have is exciting and surprising nonetheless. Home runs from Will Toffay and Mark Vientos - who has quietly recovered from a horrific start to the season - were more than enough support for the stellar pitching performance

High-A: Brooklyn Cyclones (13-27)
JERSEY SHORE 7, BROOKLYN 5 (BOX)
One rough inning is all it took for the Cyclones to dig themselves an insurmountable hole. After taking the lead in the second with a solo home run, the Blue Claws exploded for six runs in the third, shellacking starter Jaison Vilera and taking advantage of his lack of control. In a seven run hole, the Cyclones responded with five runs in the fourth, and the bullpen chipped in 6.1 innings of scoreless relief to keep things close. Brooklyn could never scratch the final two runs it needed together, however.
