Triple-A: Syracuse Mets (20-40)
SYRACUSE 18, ROCHESTER 2 (BOX)
Six runs in the first, eight runs in the eighth, and four runs inbetween made for quite a blowout in this one. Rehabbing J.D. Davis was the start, with three extra base hits including a home run in six at bats, and Khalil Lee also had a homer to go with a single and a walk. Every Met starter managed at least two hits in the route of the Red Wings, making the strong pitching performance from Robert Stock largely inconsequential.

ALTOONA 6, BINGHAMTON 3 (BOX)
Altoona hung six runs on Luc Rennie in the first and never looked back, topping Binghamton in a largely uncompetitive affair. Luis Carpio went deep and Jake Mangum stole a couple bags, while Mark Vientos went hitless and struck out twice. By far the best thing to happen at Binghamton was the activation of Brett Baty, who arrived at Double-A after being part of the Future’s Game.
