ROSTER ALERT: RHP Justin Dillon assigned to Syracuse Mets from Binghamton Rumble Ponies.
Double-A: Binghamton Rumble Ponies (40-49)
PORTLAND 11, BINGHAMTON 0 (BOX)
Really not much to say about this one. The Rumble Ponies managed only one hit - a Jake Mangum single - and gave up 11 runs. The “best” pitcher of the day was Allan Winans, who gave up two runs in his three innings of work. A game best forgotten, all in all.

High-A: Brooklyn Cyclones (34-55)
HUDSON VALLEY 3, BROOKLYN 2 / 10 (BOX)
The Cyclones rallied to tie the game in the eighth inning but ultimately fell in extras to the Hudson Valley Renegades. The rehabbing Jose Martinez was set up to be the hero after driving in the game-tying run, and was indeed the only Cyclone bat who showed up to work today (one of two hits for the team and two walks). No other Cyclones could come through however, and the Renegades walked things off with a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the tenth. Colby Morris was saddled with the tough luck loss. Concerningly, the three main prospects on the team - Ronny Mauricio, Jaylen Palmer, and Francisco Alvarez - combined for six strikeouts, one walk, and no hits in 13 AB.

Low-A: St. Lucie Mets (48-40)
METS 4, TARPONS 3 (BOX)
A bases loaded walk was the difference in this one, as St. Lucie topped Tampa in the late innings. The Tarpons jumped out to an early lead with a three run second, but the Mets came back to tie the game in the fourth on a Jack-Thomas Wold sacrifice fly. In the eighth, Carson Colman couldn’t throw any strikes for the Tarpons, and three walks and an HBP gave the Mets the run they needed to win. Luis Montas got credit for a two-inning save.
