Triple-A: Syracuse Mets (39-61)

LEHIGH VALLEY 5, SYRACUSE 4 (BOX)

Despite have the rehabbing Jose Peraza at the top of the lineup, Syracuse’s rough season continued with a one-run loss to the Iron Pigs. Peraza actually went hitless, as it was David Thompsons 3-for-3 performance that led the offense. That was enough to give the Mets a lead, but Yeizo Campos couldn’t hold it after relieving Vance Worley and the Mets were unable to rally back late.

ROSTER ALERT: Syracuse Mets activated LHP Andrew Mitchell from the 7-day injured list.

ROSTER ALERT: New York Mets sent OF Jose Martinez on a rehab assignment to Syracuse Mets.

High-A: Brooklyn Cyclones (40-61)

BROOKLYN 5, WILMINGTON 0 (BOX)

After a season where his over-the-fence power has been missing, Jaylen Palmer had what is hopefully a breakout, launching two home runs in a 5-0 win over the Wilmington Blue Rocks. Palmer also struck out - also par for the course this season - but had the most notable performance of the notable prospects (Ronny Mauricio, Francisco Alvarez, Jose Peroza) in the lineup. On the pitching side, David Griffin was the star, twirling seven shutout innings.

ROSTER ALERT: RHP Luis Montas assigned to Brooklyn Cyclones from St. Lucie Mets.

Low-A: St. Lucie Mets (53-47)

The Mets put together an early lead, nearly lost it, but did just enough to hang on. Omar De Los Santos was the offensive star, with a double, triple and four RBI from the 9th spot in the lineup. Alex Ramirez, the one notable prospect in the lineup, went 2-for-5 with a strikeout, while there weren’t any notable performances on the pitching side.
