Triple-A: Syracuse Mets (44-68)

POSTPONED (RAIN)

Double-A: Binghamton Rumble Ponies (46-57)

POSTPONED (RAIN)

ROSTER ALERT: Binghamton Rumble Ponies activated CF Jake Mangum from the 60-day injured list.

High-A: Brooklyn Cyclones (46-68)

JERSEY SHORE 4, BROOKLYN 3 (BOX)

Brooklyn did their best to channel their inning Mets, falling behind before rallying to keep things close but ultimately coming up short. All the Cyclones’ runs scored on solo home runs - two by Cody Bohanek and another by Francisco Alvarez. Meanwhile, all of Jersey Shore’s runs were scored on starter Jaison Vilera, who failed to make it out of the sixth inning. Really just more of the same from Brooklyn as they play out the string to close the season.

ROSTER ALERT: SS Branden Fryman assigned to Brooklyn Cyclones from St. Lucie Mets.

ROSTER ALERT: RF Raul Beracierta assigned to Brooklyn Cyclones from Binghamton Rumble Ponies.

Low-A: St. Lucie Mets (58-54)

ST. LUCIE 8, JUPITER 7 (BOX)

After building an early lead, the Mets just barely held on to a one run lead in the late innings to top the Hammerheads. Rehabbing Corey Oswalt made a one inning start and was followed by (top?) prospect Junior Santos who pitched poorly for six innings. Thankfully, the offense - led by Omar De Los Santos - put together eight runs before the fourth inning to bail their starter out. The bullpen nearly coughed things up, as Grant Hartwig allowed two runs to score in the ninth (one of which was unearned), but he ultimately steadied and preserved the win.
