Triple-A: Syracuse Mets (50-71)

SYRACUSE 5, SCRANTON/WILKES-BARRE 1 (BOX)

The RailRiders plated a run in the bottom of the first to get on the board first, but that run would end up being their only run. In the second, Mason Williams tied things up with an RBI groundout and in the third, Khalil Lee gave Syracuse the lead on a double. In the fifth, Brandon Brury gave Syracuse breathing room with a three-run homer, his ninth of the year. Jesus Reyes and Yeizo Campos took over for Jerad Eickhoff and kept Scranton/Wilkes-Barre off the board to notch Syracuse’ 50 win of the season.
