Brooklyn jumped out to an early lead with a four run second, but their bullpen faltered in the middle innings and the offense was unable to rally back. Ronny Mauricio launched his 19th home run of the day as the only real comeback effort, while Luis Gonzalez’s early home run put the Cyclones up in the first place. Luis Montas was saddled with the loss after allowing four runs in the sixth on five hits.
