The Yoshinobu Yamamoto sweepstakes continue to chug along.

While the Mets are still searching for their big fish, they’ve made yet another minor league signing with outfielder Taylor Kohlwey coming on-board.

There was some shuffling amongst minor league coaches in the Mets’ farm system.

Around the National League East

The Braves swung yet another trade yesterday, acquiring David Fletcher from the Angels in exchange for Evan White and Tyler Thomas.

The Marlins sent former Mets farmhand Jake Mangum to the Tampa Bay Rays as the player to be named later to complete the Vidal Bruján trade from last month.

Around Major League Baseball

Despite a whirlwind of speculation yesterday, Shohei Ohtani remains unsigned as of right now.

The Red Sox made a move to add some help in the outfield, acquiring Tyler O’Neill from the Cardinals in exchange for Nick Robertson and Victor Santos.

The Orioles have hit a minor snag in their previously agreed upon deal for a new 30-year lease at Camden Yards.

The Mariners and Diamondbacks are two teams showing an interest in free agent outfielder Jorge Soler.

The Royals may be looking into signing former Met Seth Lugo.
