Earlier today, a few hours before the trade deadline, Pete Alonso took to social media to share a message with Mets fans about their support and the team’s effort to get back into the playoff mix over the final two months of the season. And while he used #LGM in the text of those posts, the note he shared finished with a more colorful “LFGM.” You can use your imagination to figure out the extra letter there.
And as has been the case with Alonso a few times this year, that message lends itself to a t-shirt from our friends over at BreakingT.
ENOUGH WITH THE READING, I’D LIKE THAT SHIRT

Alonso is, of course, the leading contender for the National League Rookie of the Year award, as he has hit .260/.365/.593 with 34 home runs—already a Mets rookie record—and a 149 wRC+, making him not just a great rookie but also one of the best hitters in all of baseball so far this season. And his infectuous personality certainly doesn’t hurt.
SHIRT, PLEASE
