As you’ve surely seen or heard by now, Pete Alonso put on a show last night at Coors Field, winning his second straight Home Run Derby and making it look easy in the process. And of course, our friends over at BreakingT have a shirt to celebrate the occasion.
GET YOUR SHIRT HERE
Having won the most recent derby in 2019—there were no All-Star festivities last year because of the COVID-19 pandemic—Alonso defended his title nearly flawlessly. In the first round, he hit 35 home runs, the most of anyone in that round, to defeat Salvador Perez. And in the second and third rounds, he beat his opponents—Juan Soto and Trey Mancini—batting second in each round and eclipsing their respective dinger totals with time to spare in both cases.
So if you’re in a celebratory mood, here’s the link again to grab the Re-Pete shirt, which is of course officially licensed by the MLBPA.
